Paradis Beachcomber
On the Le Morne peninsula in the south-west: 5★ with an 18-hole golf course, kitesurfing, and the UNESCO-listed mountain as a backdrop.
Paradis Beachcomber sits at the tip of the Le Morne peninsula, between a turquoise lagoon and a mountain listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s one of the most spectacular settings in Mauritius, and I send clients here when they want luxury combined with an extraordinary natural landscape.
The location is ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing — the south-westerly trade wind is consistent. The 18-hole golf course runs along the lagoon. The spa, five restaurants and water sports complete the offer. Rooms and suites are arranged in low bungalows set in lush grounds facing the sea.
I handle the booking and the airport transfer (~1h15). Paired with a few nights in the north, it’s a great way to experience two very different sides of the island.
