North, South, East or West: which region to choose in Mauritius?

Mauritius is barely 65 km long and 45 km wide, yet its regions are surprisingly contrasting. Climate, landscapes, atmosphere, type of accommodation — everything changes depending on where you set down your bags. Which region to choose in Mauritius for your next stay? The North: lively, practical and well-equipped

The North — Grand Baie, Pereybère, Trou aux Biches, Mont Choisy, Cap Malheureux — is the most developed region: the highest density of restaurants, shops and accommodation options at every price.
