Ile aux Benitiers is a flat islet off La Gaulette on the west coast, ringed by reefs. You can only get there by boat, and it is often the last stop of a full-day cruise.
The same trip usually takes in Crystal Rock, the lone boulder rising out of the lagoon, and starts at first light with the dolphins.
There is nothing to do there, and that is the point: you stop to swim and to have lunch.
