Quad & Buggy Adventure — Bel Ombre

The south of Mauritius feels like a different island. Far from the tourist beaches, you find volcanic hills, endemic forest and red laterite tracks. I chose the Bel Ombre circuit because it combines the best of both worlds — proper mud when it’s called for, and breathtaking views over the southern coast.

You pick your ride: solo quad for those after a thrill, or a two-seat buggy if you’d rather go as a pair. A mandatory safety briefing, helmet and protective gear all provided. A guide leads the trail — you just follow and enjoy.
