Canonnier Beachcomber

Canonnier Beachcomber sits on a small peninsula at Pointe aux Canonniers, a short drive from Grand Baie. It’s the hotel I recommend to families or groups who want an organised resort and the buzz of the north nearby — restaurants, shops, boat trips leaving from Grand Baie.

Three beaches surround the headland, all walkable from the rooms. The main pool is large, the entertainment programme is well run and the Kids Club is popular. The atmosphere is relaxed and less formal than the group’s 5★ properties — that’s part of the appeal.

I handle the booking and I’m 10 minutes away if you want to add excursions from the north. Great combined with a catamaran trip or a day on Flat Island.
