Solana Beach Adult Only

Solana Beach is on the east coast, in Poste de Flacq, just above Belle Mare. It’s an adults-only hotel, still a rare format in Mauritius, and that’s exactly why I keep it in the catalogue.

The decor commits to its bright colours and sixties-seventies patterns over neutral furniture. The hotel is directly on the beach, facing a lagoon that runs through every shade of green and blue, with green hills behind.

I suggest it to couples who want real quiet, not promised quiet. The east coast is wilder than the north: less going on in the evening, more nature. Belle Mare and Ile aux Cerfs are minutes away.
